The Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) of the Unified Patent Court will begin accepting cases for mediation and expert determination in the spring, and for arbitration in September.
This session will explore how Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) can complement UPC proceedings, when they may conflict with them and how judges and practitioners can integrate PMAC options into their case management and litigation strategy.
A moderated discussion will follow, offering participants the opportunity to exchange views on the role PMAC may play in the UPC.
