Filipe Pedro is Director of Intellectual Property of the Bial Group. For the last 14 years his focus has been the pharmaceutical industry. His scientific background is Chemistry and he’s a qualified Portuguese Patent and Trademark Attorney and a European Patent Attorney.

His experience ranges IP Portfolio Management, Patent Litigation, IP Due Diligence work and Transactions. He’s focussing on building bridges with R&D, commercial, and regulatory teams to allow business driven IP decisions. And particularly keen in improving IP awareness and improve processes that allow for leaner, transparent and open collaboration.
