Bernhard Thum is a founding partner and the Managing Partner of Thum & Partners. He was a partner in one of Germany’s leading IP law firms for over 15 years and he's highly experienced in the representation of clients in all types of proceedings before the EPO, the GPTO, German courts, and the UPC. In addition, he contributed his opinion as an IP expert in several national and international court proceedings outside Germany and supports and advises clients in multi-national patent infringement proceedings in and outside Europe. He has several years of experience as in-house Patent Manager and Licensing Manager of Siemens AG.
