The establishment of the Unified Patent Court (UPC) marks a major milestone in the European intellectual property landscape. For the first time, a completely integrated judicial system enabled streamlined patent litigation across multiple EU member states, promising greater efficiency, consistency, and predictability to patent enforcement in Europe.
Now, two and a half years after its release, and as the UPC begins to develop its jurisprudence, the need for informed discussion and knowledge sharing has never been greater.
